New Summer Junior Schedule

With the Summer Camps in full swing, the Racquet Club has made a few adjustments to the evening Junior Program.

• The Munchkin Program (beginners, ages 4 to 7) will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 -- 4:30 p..m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m.- 10:30.
• The First Serve Group (beginners, ages 8 to 13) will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
• The Pre Tournament Group for players who are starting tournament play will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
• The Tournament Group for players who are currently competing in USTA Tournaments will meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Tennis Leagues Are Forming - Come Sign Up!

Leagues are forming for Ladies and Men's Singles and Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Juniors. Both morning and evening Ladies Singles and Doubles are scheduled while Men's Singles and Doubles are set up for evenings. Mixed Doubles Leagues are set up for evenings as well. Junior Doubles League are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, and Juniors Singles on Saturday. Leagues are on Saturdays. League Rules are as follows:

• Six players/teams per league with each league lasting 5 weeks
• All matches are two out of three sets with regular scoring and a 10 point match tie-breaker for the 3rd set
• Each win is worth 4 points and a loss is worth 3 points
• If a sub is used, 3 points for a win and 2 for a sub loss. A default is worth 0 points
• Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place winners

Junior Tennis in No Time

Have you ever wanted to learn how to play tennis just for fun with friends? Now there is a program designed for you. Let us teach you how to play a match in just four weeks. And it's only $50. Classes will meet every Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. in July. And if you don't have a racquet, we'll lend you one of ours. Class is limited to eight players, so enroll quickly. New Reservation Policy

Due to increase in play, courts may only be reserved 48 hours in advance now. Courts will be first come, first serve. No standing reservations. No answering machine reservations will be honored. Return calls will be made in the order in which received. Sorry for the inconvenience.
